Can A Classroom Learn From People Around the World Through Twitter?
Nov. 5th, 2008 – Nov. 16, 2008
Hello everyone! My little cousin’s Social Studies class is attempting to learn about people from different communities/countries both near and far. I am asking all of you to send a postcard to the below address to aid in the class’s learning of different parts/people of the world. Please send your postcard to the below address.. Much Thanks…
(Address was here)
The class received a lot of postcards, thank you all for helping with this project. Thanks again!
Please pass this message along, use twitter, your blog, your friend’s blog, etc. I want to see if twitter is as powerful as everyone says it is.
If you’re going to help us out please send me an email or direct message listing the postcard’s state/country you are sending from so I can list off all of the places so we don’t have too many from one place. I will put the list below as I receive emails. If you’d like, I can list those who helped out. Send a link for me to post along side the state/country so others can connect with you and view your blog, website, and/or your twitter.
Thanks again,
Nicholas Patten

It’s awesome to see that people care enough to take some time out of their daily routines to help a classroom halfway across the U.S. and/or the other side of the world. Thanks again, I really appreciate it.
